Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SerBee website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing listings, booking services, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep your profile up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, impersonate another person, or violate these Terms.
2. Marketplace role
SerBee provides an online marketplace that helps customers discover, message, and book local service providers ("Providers"). Unless we explicitly state otherwise, SerBee is not the provider of the underlying services and does not employ Providers.
Providers are independent third parties responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and delivery of their services. Any contract for services is between the customer and the Provider, subject to the booking terms presented at checkout.
3. Bookings, payments, and wallet
When you request or confirm a booking, you authorize charges, holds, or wallet debits shown at checkout, including applicable fees disclosed before you confirm. Pricing, availability, cancellation windows, and rescheduling rules are set by the Provider and displayed on the listing or booking flow.
Wallet balances, top-ups, withdrawals, and holds are subject to Platform policies and verification requirements. We may delay, reverse, or refuse transactions where fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, or legal obligations require it.
- You are responsible for reviewing booking details before confirming.
- Disputes about service quality should first be addressed with the Provider through Platform messaging.
- Refunds, when available, are processed according to the applicable cancellation policy and payment method.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or discriminatory activity.
- Circumvent fees, booking protections, or identity verification requirements.
- Upload malware, scrape data without permission, or interfere with Platform security.
- Post false reviews, manipulate ratings, or misrepresent qualifications or licenses.
- Share another person's personal data without lawful authority or consent.
5. User content and licenses
You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, listings, photos, messages, and reviews. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Platform.
We may remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards, or that creates safety or legal risk for users or the Platform.
6. Verification and safety
We may offer identity or credential verification badges. Verification supports trust but does not guarantee performance, licensing status in every jurisdiction, or fitness for a particular job.
You are responsible for evaluating Providers, confirming licenses where required, and taking reasonable precautions when inviting someone to your home or sharing personal information.
7. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that listings are accurate, or that any Provider will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERBEE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SERBEE FOR PLATFORM FEES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or if required by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Metro Manila, Philippines, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location provide otherwise.
